I like to take a minute to tell you a bit about myself and my life.

I was born in Shrewsbury. I started out in hairdressing at the age 15 working Thursday nights and Saturday.

I was very lucky that the salon where I worked was very hands on, and I gained value experience straight away.

When I left school I stayed at the same salon and did an NVQ level 2 & 3 apprenticeship in hairdressing, then went on to become an assessor, so I could train new apprentices. During my time at the salon, I was able to attend colour/cutting and hair extension courses.

In may 2012 I gave birth to my first child and when she was 18months old my  husband and I married at Hawkstone Park.

In may 2015 I  had my 2nd child.

When I finished my maternity, after having my son, I took a big step and went self employed , starting my freelance hairdressing business in jan 2016.

It was the best decision I made.

I love all aspects in hairdressing, but hair up is a passion for me that I find really relaxing, and being allowed to be a part of my brides special day is an honour.
